Hi, I’m Catherine
My name is Catherine Doyle and I help ordinary mums, dads, employees, and business owners (just like you) slow down once a day to enjoy a few minutes of quiet using easy meditation exercises.
Most of us are struggling with a never ending to-do list. Trying to fit more and more in, and neglecting our need for rest, for connection, and balance.
But life shouldn’t be a mad dash from one activity to the next.
We should be able to slow down, to enjoy playing with our kids, to take some time for ourselves, to spend time doing things that make us feel good.
We desperately need balance. Quiet times away from all the hectic busy stuff. Time spent truly connecting with our loved ones. Time spent focussed solely on the things that matter to us.
I learnt to meditate over 20 years ago. I was working full-time and still studying for my degree back then. I guess life was pretty busy, but it was a good balance. I spent lots of time having fun with my friends, I had quiet times alone, and time spent being productive at work and study.
After yet more study (this time for my master’s degree), I plunged headlong into the world of work. At first I did meaningful work, but gradually after several job changes I realised I was working in a world where it was more about the money than the things that matter.
So I decided to learn how to teach meditation. I wanted to help people live a life that was more calm, less stressed, and just easier. That was 8 years ago, and since then I have absolutely loved teaching people to meditate.
I adore seeing my meditation students gradually transform and improve their lives as they learn and practice their new skills… and I love being able to help people to overcome their health problems as they develop new ways of coping with stress and new ways of relating to the world.
